Why choose SHINE for your school's wellbeing strategy?
Today's primary school children face significant pressures, including social stress, screen time, and post-pandemic adjustments. Effective child wellbeing programs must go beyond academics to provide genuine emotional support.
SHINE is a trauma-informed and heart-centered program that strengthens existing school wellbeing initiatives by focusing on key areas:

-
Self-Awareness and Emotional Literacy (SEL)
-
Confidence and Healthy Self-Expression
-
Positive Peer Relationships and Teamwork Skills
-
Improved Focus and Self-Regulation, enhancing Learning Readiness
This is not therapy; it is a transformative, creative approach to child mental health support through embodiment, movement, and meaningful connection.

Program structure & evaluation
The SHINE Schools Program runs over 9 weeks, with a 1-week integration break midway. Accountability and Impact Measurement are key components:

-
Mid-Program Reflection (Week 4): Observations of children documented and shared with teacher/s, parents and carers.
-
Final Summary Report (Week 9): A comprehensive document provided to the Head Teacher, relevant staff and parents/carers, highlighting key observations, themes, and expert recommendations.

This evidence directly supports future wellbeing planning, informs school policy, and can be used for funding applications for school programs.
