West African Dance & Drumming Taster session

When you know, you know, and it keeps drawing you back.  If you don't know yet, you're going to LOVE this dip into the rich traditions and intricate beats and dances of West Africa.  Stuart Dinwoodie has been learning, playing, teaching and dancing these traditional rhythms and dances for the past 25+ years and is dedicated to sharing the beauty and power that was taught to him in Guinea, Mali, Senegal and Gambia.

Come along for a taster - into the joy of playing and moving to beats that feel so good, and stir in you your spirit to MOVE.  Stuart will coax you out of any hesitation with his blend of skilled dance tuition and silliness, where you'll forget that you were nervous.

Bring a djembe if you have one or one can be provided for you
